ABOUT ME
Philippians 4:13
The prevalence of major depressive conditions such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD among first responders and healthcare providers is alarmingly high. Individuals in these roles often bear a heavy burden from daily challenges. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, training in Functional Medicine, and certification as a health and wellness nurse coach, I employ an integrated approach to identify root causes of these conditions.
If unaddressed, these stressors impact spiritual, physical, and mental health, potentially leading to chronic diseases that affect personal and professional life. My experience as a firefighter-paramedic deepened my understanding of how my relationship with Jesus Christ became my foundation. This identity, rooted in faith rather than career, gave me purpose—serving others and fostering hope.
I aim to partner with clients to assess their lifestyles, address health concerns, and develop personalized coping skills rooted in a client-centered vision of health. I commit to listening actively, using motivational interviewing, and setting S.M.A.R.T. goals to facilitate sustainable change.
