A Life Like Noah’s
Imagine a time when the world was filled with corruption and violence, and God decided to cleanse it with a great flood. In the midst of this chaos, there was a man named Noah. Chosen by God for a monumental task, Noah was asked to build an ark to save his family and every living thing. This was a task unlike any other, a divine assignment that would test his faith and obedience.
Noah, a man of unwavering faith and obedience, was recognized by God. God revealed to Noah His plan to end the lives of those who had turned to violence and hatred. This was before the 'new covenant' God made through Jesus Christ, a promise of salvation and forgiveness for all who believe in Him.
If God were to entrust you with a divine assignment, how would you react? Would you be filled with fear or would you step up to the challenge with faith? These questions may stir in your mind: Do you have a burning desire to live in a right relationship with God? Where does your heart, your life's passion lie? Is it in alignment with God's will for your life?
Jesus doesn't just invite us into His life but also into His ministry. He calls us to share in the responsibility given to Him by God, to reach out to those who are at risk of eternal separation from Him, and to show them the same compassion we would show our own family. This is the heart of the 'Great Commission' (Matthew 28:19-20), a commandment that urges us to actively spread the message of God's love and hope to all nations.
Are you willing to take a risk for a divine assignment? When we give our hearts to God, He gives us identity, value, purpose, and the responsibility to bring hope to others. Your significance in Christ not only brings significance to your life but also to the lives of others. Receive the call to action to embrace your purpose and responsibility in God's plan.
